Preparing young adults for the world of work or further learning
Providing facilities to meet the requirements of students with differing aspirations and career goals
- Recognising that every education provider, whether a local authority, academy trust, independent or free school, wants to deliver a high standard of education with the best facilities available
- Focusing on quality and robust design and construction to ensure our schools are not burdened with long term, high cost maintenance liabilities
- Harnessing the benefit of standardisation to provide efficiency in the procurement and delivery of projects
Morgan Sindall understands that every student has their own goals and ambitions as they begin their path to adulthood and that many will be unclear of their career aspirations when they reach key milestones.
Our experience of delivering secondary schools for a diverse range of customer bodies means we are able to provide tailored solutions to suit the broad spectrum of today’s educational needs.
Our ability to minimise disruption and maintain and improve attainment while working around teaching accommodation is one of our key strengths. We spend time to understand the current curriculum, pupil role and school day in order to maximise the opportunity to relocate students within the existing facilities, and phase any demolition and remodelling to avoid the need for unnecessary temporary accommodation.
Recent projects include the £16.9 million Beal High School for customer the London Borough of Redbridge, and Kingswood Academy, which has won both regional and national Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) awards.
